The feminine is the celebration of life. The fragrance of the flower.
And as the Mother, Shakti is the one that teaches through the movement of Discernment (see: Shakti & the Dance of Discernment).
With the ending of the Pitru Paksha period where we give gratitude to the ancestors and also dissolve the bonds and the inherited conditionings that don’t serve us, the Navratri period is for welcoming the Light of Shakti and allowing the Mother to show us how to move in new ways that are aligned with Truth.
As the Kundalini Shakti, she reconditions our body and mind to make it a fit vessel for the movement and expression of Grace. As Kali, Lakshmi and Saraswati, she moves in the form of the three gunas of tamas, rajas and sattva.
